Respected and dear colleagues past and present…
As I humbly acknowledge this position, with great onus and responsibility, as well as with deep gratitude, Virchow’s famous aphorism comes to my mind, “omnis cellula e cellula” (“every cell stems from another cell”).
I thank you all, for choosing me to carry on with the work, as we transcend a period of time, and to go as a team, from one step to another, and giving myself to the adjective part of work, Receiving, Liaising, Circulating, Planning, Checking, Keeping, Compiling, Acting, Ensuring, Filing, Responding, Reporting and Preparing, to the best of my abilities, and with diligence that is sine qua non.
This platform will be a great tool for our organisation to reach farther heights, just as we have been going on with it, by the tempo set by our predecessors. So, we shall carry on forward with it, with zeal, panache and enthusiasm, as well as with the co-operation from you all.
I quote Virchow again, “Body: A cell state in which every cell is a citizen.” May we be present, and omnipresent as ever as a body and its citizen..
With utmost sincerity, and great expectations from you all.
